Do you see it?
Christ was made to be sin, so that we can be made righteous. This is the great gift we are to lay ahold
of. Eternal Life. The eternal life of God is now ours, for we
have been given eternal life and made right with God.
2 Cor. 5:21 in the NIV
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might
become the righteousness of God.
Do you
see this? God made Jesus to be sin for
us, so we might be become the righteousness of God.
2 Cor.
8:9 in the NIV.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you
through his poverty might become rich.
Do you
see this? Christ, who was rich, became
poor, so that we, through his poverty might become rich.
And this
is specifically talking about financial issues.
It is in the context of an offering, a financial offering.
The bible
promises, as we give, we become partners in faith, joint heirs with the plan of
the gift of all God is, and just one little part of that life of God is
becoming like Jesus was in heaven, through his sacrifice on earth.
Jesus,
who was rich in heaven, became poor, so that we can become like he was and now
is in heaven.
Salvation,
is a gift, with attendant blessings. Just one is being made rich. It is an inheritance. Don’t get mad at someone who was made
rich. It was a gift.
